Project brief
Replenish is a inventory managing system controlled by pressure sensor scale. This is a Startup event in NYC, we spent a weekend to polish the idea and make the MVP. I worked on UI/UX and visual design with another visual designer, together with an IOS developer, a backend developer engineer and a business expert to transform our ideas to actual prototype.

Problem statement
Keeping inventory on consumables is really difficult.

Ideation & Process

We began with our problem statement, and we intend to solve the pain points of home inventory. We started it by personal experiences sharing which helped us understand the context and identify the problem space. At the same time, we would like to make MVP in a short period of time, so we decide start from daily product, shampoo, we need to use everyday.

How to alert a user when he/she run out of shampoo. The idea of push notification pop out in our head. And then we need an app to manage the alerts and home inventory. From there, we sketch a lot to define user flow.
